When I first conceptualized photographing Andre Botha, a 2x World Champion and legendary big wave bodyboarder, I knew I wanted to capture his larger-than-life ability. I wanted to showcase his confidence and wizardry that can only be seen in his athletic expressions. Through my photos, I aimed to communicate his legendary temper and the raw power he brings to the sport.
